What data we collect
PlatformCompare does not collect personal data. The calculator runs entirely in your browser — your portfolio size and account details are never sent to any server.
Cookies
We use no tracking cookies and no analytics cookies. We may use a session cookie solely for site functionality (e.g. remembering your last calculator inputs within a session). This cookie contains no personal information and is deleted when you close your browser.
Analytics
We use Clicky to measure site traffic. Clicky collects anonymised analytics data including page views and referrers. It does not sell your data to third parties. See Clicky’s privacy policy.
Affiliate links
When you click a platform link, you may be redirected through an affiliate tracking link. This tells the platform you came from PlatformCompare so we can earn a commission if you open an account. The platform’s own privacy policy governs what data they collect.
Third-party services
- Google Fonts: Used for typography. Google may log font requests. See Google’s privacy policy.
- Chart.js: Loaded from jsDelivr CDN. No personal data is shared with the chart library.
- Cloudflare: Hosts this website. Cloudflare may log anonymised access data for security and performance. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
